Return & Complete Forms From 1st Day Packet

Post

Your student will bring home a folder with several forms that need to be filled out and returned to school.

These include: the emergency cards, free and reduced lunch forms, library agreement and internet usage agreement.

Our district receives significantly more money for students who need extra resources: low-income students, foster youth and English language learners.

Volunteer Crossing Guards Needed!
Can you help keep our kids safe?

Post

A big portion of our student body walks to and from school.  We need to make sure our children are 100% safe when they are crossing the streets.  We also need to assist parents and guardians and keep the traffic flowing smoothly when they are dropping off and picking up their loved ones.

Our school needs volunteer crossing guards to make this happen.  Will you be able to help and spare about 30 minutes of your time in the morning and/or in the afternoon?

Pony Express Elementary is proud to participate in the Sacramento City Unified School District’s STRIDE Running Program.  This project is in collaboration with the Sacramento Running Association (SRA) with the objective of getting our children exposed to a healthy lifestyle by running!

Our STRIDE program will be every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch time.  Please encourage your children to participate.

Nugget Markets Scrip Program

Post

With this program, up to 4% of your purchases at Nugget Markets will be donated back to our school.  To obtain a card, fill out the request form, or leave a note in the PTA mailbox.  Register your card online, and present it to the cashier each time you shop at Nugget Markets. Multiple cards can be registered under one family member so monthly purchases earn a greater percentage.
