My name is Alejandra Arellano. I’ve been teaching for 15 years. I taught at Edward Kemble in the Dual-Language Program during my first 3 years. After that I taught Kindergarten in the Mainstream English Program for 6 years. In 2012, I transitioned to Pony Express and taught 2 years of K/1 and one year of 2nd Grade. Since 2015, I have been teaching Kindergarten again. I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year.

After graduating from CSU, Sacramento, I continued my education while teaching in another district. I found my teaching “home” here at Pony Express in 1998. Every year is new, exciting, with fresh rewards.
I received my credential in August of 1998, and began teaching that year in the Twin Rivers USD. I taught there for 8 years. For the past 5 years, I have been teaching in the Sacramento City USD. This in my first year at Pony Express, and I am really excited to be part of the SMART Panthers team!
I just got a Vespa scooter for my birthday, and hope to be riding it to Pony Express soon. I enjoy traveling, reading, sewing costumes, trips to the beach and spending time with my family. Sacramento has been my home for the past 27 years.

Hi, I’m Mrs. Eberle. I have been an educator now for 27 years. All 27 of those years have been spent in a GATE classroom. I come from a family of teachers. My father taught high school for 35 years. My brother has been teaching high school for 20 years. I grew up in the Bay Area and moved to Sacramento in 1985.

Hi, I’m Patricia Howard and I’ve been in the Sacramento City School District for 10 years. Besides my teaching credential I also have a Bachelor of Science and MBA from CSUS. I attended elementary and high school in the Central Valley and was born in Arizona.
I enjoy music and reading in my spare time. Ice cream and caramel are my favorite dessert. I’m looking forward to a great year with your child and they already know that I love ice cream, caramel and tea.
